Hearne is now distributing the Cherwell products in Australia and New Zealand. The brief comments below should help you understand what these programs can do. CYRILLIC 2.1 - NOW AVAILABLE This version is used by thousands of genetic researchers throughout the world. It will continue to be available until the release of the Cyrillic 3 Research version.
CYRILLIC 3 STANDARD VERSION - DUE AUGUST / SEPTEMBER 1999 The Cyrillic 3 Standard version is designed for genetic counselors and clinicians who calculate risks and draw pedigrees, but who don't use genetic marker data. Cyrillic 3 Standard includes an integrated database, risk analysis with BRCAPRO, and a new drawing interface. If you don't use genetic marker data, we recommend this version, but if you need marker data and do haplotyping, you should use Cyrillic 2.1 NOW and upgrade to Cyrillic 3 Research version when it becomes available.
CYRILLIC 3 RESEARCH VERSION - FORTHCOMING JANUARY 2000 The Research version will include all the new features of the Standard version, and additional genetic analysis features building on Cyrillic 2.1. We recommend this upgrade to genetic researchers, or labs/clinics where marker data is used by some people in the group.
Cyrillic 2.1 is currently retailing for $895, Cyrillic 3 Standard for $1105 and the Cyrillic 3 Research version, due in early 2000, will retail for $1400.
As part of the agreement with Cherwell, Hearne is also offering other Cherwell products for chemists and modelers:
