GEMS Launcher
Introduction
GEMS Launcher offers the technology to assess the functional structure of genomic sequences by an integrated collection of tasks tailored to the actual needs of research in functional genomics.
The philosophy is to offer biologists a sophisticated, comprehensive and easy-to-use software package for DNA analysis. GEMS Launcher combines the power of several popular Genomatix tools that have set standards in bioinformatics software in the last decade (e.g. MatInspector, ModelInspector, DiAlign).
GEMS Launcher integrates highest quality databases and gold standard algorithms for in-depth analysis of transcriptional regulation. The tasks are divided into the following categories:
- Transcription factor binding sites
- Complex regulatory patterns
- Alignment
- Miscellaneous
- Genomatix sequence tools
